Restaurant Marketing: Bar Should Be On The Right, Not Left

Restaurant Marketing: Your bar sales could be dwindling simply because it’s located on the left side of your restaurant. This proves the fact that restaurant marketing has to be involved in decision factors as early as the construction of a restaurant. Here’s the fact: We live in a “right handed” society. We move to the right. Go into a grocery story or a shopping mall. You will probably turn to the right as opposed to the left. If your bar is on the right, your guests will be more aware of it and more apt to walk to that area, as opposed to it being on the left side of your restaurant. Wonder why your bar sales haven’t met your expectations? Maybe it’s because it’s located on the left hand side of your lobby area.
